Icebound!

We are on the southern edge of the storm,
so it has been more rain than ice. Elizabeth has an ice-day off from
work, so we took Carmine out for a stroll through the icy rain with the
new camera to test its (and our) waterproofness- we all did fine. Cabin
fever is setting in already, and we are faced with the terrifying
prospect of setting up the ginormous four foot xmas tree and finding
some hidden pocket of holiday cheer. Kaye’s home made Irish Cream in
our coffee has begun to loosen up my innate Grinchiness, and
Elizabeth is visualizing, not sugarplums, but where the heck the box
with xmas gear might be stowed.
