New Years Art Fitness: Daily Practice

Gesture studies are a great way to keep the art muscles fit. The longer the line, the more complex the endurance. A supple expressive line that moves directly from eye to hand and captures volumetric anatomy in a modified blind contour pushes all the art muscles to work at peak performance. Drawing in ink is the kettle bell routine.

Warm-up gestures are 1 & 2 minute. Training gestures are 5 & 10 minute. Full-on workout is 30 min.
